Question
Myself and my Husband have spent several days searching for information on a dinning table that was left to my husband after the passing of his parents. We have been unable to find much of anything. Maybe you can help us in locating information? if nothing else? The only markings on the table are stamped on the side of the slide which says:("forty four"slide, Watertown Table slide Co. Wisconsin Pat No. 1040028 pat No.1422142. I believe this only pertains to the mechanism for the inserts? Under the table is a marking on the lever that locks the table. ( The SENG Co.) here ARE some pictures for a visual. My Husband says the table has been in the family about 60 yrs. Its 5ft closed with 3- 1ft leaves, Which extends it to 8 ft. There are 3 chair and a captain once there was (6). John does not believe that there a set he believes that they were purchased after the purchase of the table.the markings on them are "Burnns" wholesale Chicago Ill's #135 RiverEdge WINE. Thanks I Greatly Appreciate Your Time. Lynn & John
Answerhi, i only see a pic of the chair, not the table. i dont think you are going to find out much about them...they look like they are from the forties... many manufactures put the name of the store that sold them instead of theres. while the chair, and i am sure the table, are attractive, they are not very valuable.
