Experience
I have written a number of Price Guides for penny arcade machines AND for pinball games and am considered one of the experts in the hobby on pricing.

Education/Credentials
I come from the school of experience. Collecting Coin operated items is my life and hopefully you have some questions to test my abilities!

Question
hy, i just got a superior classic gumball style vending machine.  its about a foot tall and i know nothing about it.  on the coin operated mechanism it says 1988.  i took out the screw from the top to fill it and now it wont go back in.  the rod that attaches to the bottom sticks all the way up and i cant figure out how to reassemble.  if this aint enuff of a description for you to help me then just say so and id be more than happy to send some pictures of the problem.  like i said, i know nothing about these things so please forgive my ignorance.
thankyou for your time, Corn Likker Carson

Answer
Hello Mr. Carson,  Unfortunately I am not well informed on new gumball machines, as I only deal with things that are 1950's and earlier.  If it is actually a commercial model, I would suggest looking in the Yellow Pages under Vending and someone there should definitely be able to help you.  Hope this was of help.  Larry   www.coinoplibrary.com
