Question

lamp
I will attempt to send a picture of my "head lamp".  She has small lines on the bottom edge - all the way around.  The only markings are PAT-APP and is made of some sort of metal.  The bottom shows she was made to be a lamp.  What can you tell me about her, or where can I look for more information?  Isn't she adorable!?

Answer
Hi Tina, yes she is adorable. It looks like you could stick a cigarette in her mouth. I can't see the base from your picture. Is it just a head on a base? The metal is pot metal or smelter or spelter which are all the same. It was made during the typical art deco era and probably 1920s. It looks like a Frankart. I have had some of their work. That's what the face looks like.

Thanks, Rex
