Question I have two of the old spring hoses that i want to take apart and make carousel horses out of to put in my yard, but i am not sure what paint i should use so they remain in good shape and should i try to remove the old paint
Answer First, fill the holes where the pegs for the springs are. Then prime the entire horse, sand lightly and prime again. I would use a good acrylic paint on the horse, then after the paint is dry, apply a sealer/finish with a UV screen so the sun won't fade it out.
