Question
Hi.  We bought this lamp for $50.  The painting on the inside, though is peeling.  Should we just sell it and try to get our $50 back, or would you try to have an expert fix it and hope to recoup the investment?  Here are the images:

Thanks....Connie

Answer
The shade is nice but I am not sure if someone would pay $50 with the lamp in that condition. One thing you can try is to take the lamp completely apart, buy a small can of off white or almond colored spray paint and reach inside the glass piece from the bottom and spray paint the area in which the paint peeled. Of course you need to remove the peeled parts first.

Thanks
