Question
QUESTION: are these worth any money? they are electric and still work. they were my husbands grandmothers
ANSWER: Hi, they are not true antiques. I think they are from the late 1940s to 1950s and are patterned off of much older GWW lamps that burned oil. They are nice and have usable colors which make them more desirable. Given that, there functionality, and still being a pair, I would say they are worth about $125 each.

QUESTION: how would i go about selling them?
AnswerDo you have any antique auctions near you? Sometimes good auctions can bring decent prices, but you must state a reserve price so they won't be given away if there is lack of interest. Auctions usually charge a 15-20% commission. Ebay is another option, but shipping costs must be taken into consideration on large items and fragile ones such as these. You can take them to Antique stores and see if any dealers are interested. The price I quoted you is retail, keep in mind. You may only be offered $50 each by a dealer.
