Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Bally Slot Machine

Question
I have a Bally 5 cent slot machine in decent condition. Inside it says Equip #3 and #C-654 *1-C*, I'm guessing that's the model number. The max payout is $100. I think one of the fuses is blown but otherwise it will work. I wanted to know how much this machine would be worth if I get it fixed. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Richard,

The model is important, the model number should be on the serial number tag on the handle side of the cabinet down low. It would be something like model 946-24, or if a e series, like E-1212-04 or E-2456. Something like this. If it has circuit boards on the inside of the cabinet and on the inside back it will be an E series, if no printed circuit boards, it will be a electro/mechanical machine. Value from 600.00 to 1,000.00 or maybe a bit more depending on what it is. Most average selling price is around 800.00. Can you email a photo? to jackpot7@ix.netcom.com As for the fuse, has it blown this fuse before?
Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
