Question
I own a 1948 Jennings Sun Chief slot machine and want to get a value on it for a possible sale.   I have been doing some research and it is hard to get a value, finding no antique books available and Jennings made a lot of models.  It is a nickle machine, non light up model and is not a console model.  The condition is very good and it is in working order.  The front is chrome with red inlays of lines going up and down.  Could you give me a selling price please.  I have been searching the internet and this morning I found this site.  Thank you!!!

Answer
Karen,

It is worth $800-1400 depending upon condition.  However, slot machine values are trending downward due to the economy.  The lower end of the price range may be more realistic.  I could give you more specific information if you email me pictures.

My email address is buck@nvc.net

Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
