Question
Hello. I have this very old agate ball electric heater. It measures 3 1/2 - 4" wide and does work. THe stone is beautiful. I would like to know its use. I say it was put in boots or socks and others think beds but the heater is very hot and close to the bottom metal piece. i have more pictures. any thoughts. thanks m

hi..whatever it is ..it is made of agate glass from the 20's. after looking in several books i could really find any info...it may have been used as a perfume lamp...where they put a couple of drops of perfume on the top to vaporize it and give a pleasant scent to the room. thanks
