My husband bought this in upstate New York in 1976. He thought it was a
buttonholer. The inscription on one side is Pat'd Dec 28 69. D G Chase. On
the other side it says KOIIT. Any information would be appreciated as well as
your opinion as to any value.
Thank you
Answer Hello Susan. I'm afraid this item doesn't look like any sewing tool I've come across. That's not to say it ISN'T a button hole cutter - just that I've not seen one like this. You can try and search the US Patent Office database to see if you can come up with the item. I Googled KOITT and found nothing remotely associated with this item. I've also searched on D.G. Chase and come up empty handed as to a tie in to your item. Sorry I can't be of more help. Barbara
