Question
My parent's 50th wedding anniversary is coming up, and my mom's absolute
favorite memory growing up has to do with the old-fashioned crane
machines - the tall kind in a wooden cabinet with a wheel on the front and
the silver claw mechanism inside. I've seen lots of great pictures of them
online, but no one seems to have one for sale. Is this a fool's errand, or do
these things exist for sale somewhere? And if they do, how much can one
expect to pay? Let me know if you have any information. I have almost a year
to figure this out, so I thought I'd start now. Thanks so much!

Answer
Hello, yes the diggers are available.  They are normally between $2000 and $3000 depending on the condition.  Typical makers of them are Buckely, Exhibit Supply, and Mills (all MFGs from the 30s).  I do have 4 of them.  If you would like to see pictures, please e-mail me.
  Thank you
