Subject: Value of Antique Carousel Horse
Question
I own a fully/professionally restored 1921 wooden Spillman Engineering Carousel Horse jumper. I have a copy of the bill of sale from the original carousel it came from, along with a certificate of authenticity issued by the restorer. Can you give me a ballpark figure of what it may be worth. Also, the best way to try to sell it. Thank you.

As you can imagine, now is not the time to get a good price for your horse. As a rule, Spillman Engineering figures are considered "beginner" pieces. Average Retail in this market would be from $2,500 to $3,500 which is probably less than what you spent for the restoration.
