Question
Hello Rodger. I recently acquired a Watling 400 fortune scale that I had used as a child and wanted for some time for my gameroom. I do a lot of my own restorations and need help locating a mirror for this machine. It is the upper one with the weights/wording on it. I would greatly appreciate info on anyone that may have scale parts. Thanks so much for your time!

Answer
Hi Again Faron, I found Bill and Jan for you, I didn't know it, but they are volunteers here at all experts also! Well they have been in to scales forever, and if they don't have your mirror Marque part, they should know where to send you. Here is a link to them: http://www.allexperts.com/ep/682-82468/Collectibles-General-Antiques/Bill-Jan-Be...
This should get your part for you.
Sincerely
Rodger Knutson

Hi Faron, Thank you for the feed back but I don't understand the less then perfect score on knowledge about the subject, do you want me to find your mirror for you and send it? Do didn't ask for information about your scale, I know your scale and what it looks like. There are no real suppliers of antique scale parts, but I have offered to do some checking for you. I think I had enough scale questions as this is not really why I am here providing fee help on this site. Antique coin operated games is my thing. Anyway, good luck finding your part.
Sincerely
Rodger Knutson
Hi Faron,

I am not big on scales, but yes I do have one. I see scale parts on ebay, try coin operated scales, then there are these links:

The is also Ben and Jan Baring i think, they are old scale dealers and have a web site, but I will have to find it for you and get back with that information for you. The good news is, that you should be able to find this part out there. I look abound a bit and see what I can find for you and get back with you if I can find some more information for you.
Thank You
Sincerely

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
