AboutIrene Schwall Expertise I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2.
Please note:
I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing -- I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
Experience My expertise is in ANTIQUE sewing or needlework tools & thimbles, gold, silver, brass, ivory, bone etc. Modern thimbles are not necessarily my strong point but I may be able to help so don't hesitate to ask. I am also very well versed in the identification of Hallmarks on sewing collectibles.

Hi, I have an original "American Girl" mini sewing machine made by the National Sewing Machine Co. I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me the age and value of this unit with the original box and as you can see in the pictures, the table hold down clamp also. To the best of your ability.Everything seems to be working perfectly on it.
Thank You for your time

Answer Hello Allan,
Cute machine and it appears to be in nice condition. Thank you for including a clear photograph.
As to value .............If your machine is in excellent condition, with the original box, clamp etc. (which it appears it might be) then I'd place a value of around $200 - $250 on it.
The machine dates to the 1920's - 1930's.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Irene
