Question
QUESTION: I HAVE THIS OLD GUM BALL MACHINE, OLD GOLD. PENNY IN AND GIVES YOU A GUM BALL, ALSO HAS 4 REELS WITH 4 NUMBERS. IF YOU MATCH THE #'S ON THE BOARD YOU GET FREE OLD GOLD CIGGS.
CAN YOU TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND WHAT IT MAY BE WORTH.?

ANSWER: Hi John, something is wrong with the game name here, can you email a photo or send one in the mail? Or see any other name on it? Hundreds of games used ciggs on the reel strips, and Old Gold was on a lot of them. I can and will get you a ton of information on it but first I have to know what the game is.
Thank You

Answer
Hi John, So far looking through hundreds of machines I haven't found yours, so many games were made and a lot of them don't even put the manufacture names on there items. This is a punch board type of game and I am sure it was made to place a new punch area board in it as the old one was used up or you wanted to chang it. Another name for these was "trade boards". I found similar ones like yours, and there values are all around 150.00 to 175.00. You have a very fine example, and in nice shape. I think that this value will be right in there for yours also.
Thank You
Rodger

Lucky Smokes, looks neat John!, I have to get back to my research information to see what I can find on it for you, thanks for posting a photo and I'll get back to you on it later.

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
