Collectibles-General (Antiques)/wicker chairs? Chair backs?

Question
In our attic we found two matching double size curved wicker chair/settee backs with no seats.  They are both on little stubby 4" legs  - an almost impossible height for comfortable seating and there are stringer boards where the seat would be.  Any ideas what these might be?  The seem like the backs to something, but would sit way too low for settes or chairs.

Answer
Thanks for your question,
Without a photo to go by, I really can't say what these might be but they could be for a boat or what they used to call a Beach Chair. They were on short legs to sit in the sand and the edge of the water. They also could have had removable seats. If you could send a photo, I could possably you give a better idea what they are.
 Thank You,
 Rob
