Question
Hello, My grandmother passed away 4 days ago and we hate to do it but we are selling some of her stuff to help pay for her funeral, so I need to know more about these sewing machines and how to price them. The Pink one is the Singer. It is about 7 inches tall and 6 inches wide. It also says it was made in GRB. It also have a clamp to hold it to a table. the only numbers we find anywhere in this machine is th number 2 on the top and a number 3 by a screw on the handle. The only words in it is "Singer" & "Simanco". It has a reddish pink case that looks like a suit case type, with a second case inside that lifts up. ...........Ok, now for the stitchwell, colors are black, gold, blue, white & red. Manufactured by NSMC in Belvidere, IL. it is about 6 1/2 tall (8 inches counting handle). I have called Singer about the pink one and they told me the done have a pink miniature Singer sewing machine anywhere in their computers. Any help you could give would help. Thank you so very much in advance! Have a great day!:)

Answer
Hello Samantha,
I am sorry to read of your grandmother's passing.
Without pictures is is not possible for me to be 100% accurate on what you have but I will try from your description.
The Singer - It seems that you might have the hand operated Singer machine.  This little machine would date to the 1950's and if complete with clamp and all instruction manuals, case etc. plus in mint condition, estimate around $200.
The Stitchwell: This one I cannot tell you about without a good photo. The National Sewing Machine Co.made a number of these machines and many look almost identical but for the decals on the machines. Can you send me a photo please?
Thanks.
Regards,
Irene
