Subject: Dentzel Prancer

Question
Dear Bruce,  I am considering buying a dentzel prancer from Sandy and Gary at myCarousel.com.  I believe that the horse is authentic.  It is #565a-8 and I am thinking about buying it for my wife for our 40th anniversary.  Could you please tell me anything you can about the sellers and the horse?

Thanks in Advance,

Barry Denes

Answer
Barry,

Gary and Sandy Franklin are very well-known, knowledgable carousel art dealers.   You can be sure that you're getting an authentic piece when purchasing from them.   The Prancer that you're considering looks to have a nice paint job and the price seems pretty much in line with todays market.
