Total length about 9 1/4" with engraving on handles and name is Betz or maybe Setz-Germany know they are over 60 years old. Can you provide me any information?

Hello.  The size of your scissors seem to indicate they are actually "shears" and larger than scissors used for fine needlework or found in needlework boxes.  Many of the sewing accessories books have chapters on scissors, but a quick review provided no additional insight into your pair.  Sorry I couldn't be of more help.  Barb
