Question

st. peter-zinn.jpg
Hi,
I have a small cream and sugar collection and found a set in a second hand store that is quite
appealing, a very simple design with clean lines and appears to be pewter. I have tried to find
information on the maker, but have come up quite blank. Both pieces are marked with the
words "ST. PETER-ZINN" and have a simple shield shape with the letters "F" and "K" on either
side of a hammer or mallet. Any information you can give me on this newest addition to my
collection would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your time!

Modern - that is, mid 20th century or later. Zinn is German for tin, and also their word for pewter, so probably made in a german speaking country. I don't recognise the mark, as recent marks, especially those used in Continental Europe, are very poorly recorded.
