I have a General Brand sewing machine. I don't have much information to offer you because it has no numbers or plates.
It is a black portable (Old) sewing machine,It is in a wooden carry case. It is very glossy black with a gold GENERAL logo across the top of the machine body, It has an external mounted motor. tne machine is in very good condition and works. The case is in poor shape due to age.
My question is about what year was the General sewing machine Company Established and where might I find out more info about this machine.
