I have a few pieces that I need to find their worth. It's been tough finding information on this but I know it is very well made and heavy as all get out. I have a 68"long, 38" wide dining table with two leaves and a hutch and sideboard. The stamp underneath is circular and says "Conant Ball Furniture Makers" and 1852.Thank you.
Answer Linda - Conant Ball is a respected name in American furniture manufacturing, having made traditional Colonial Revival furniture for nearly 100 years. Your set is from no earlier than the 1970s and maybe even later. My area of expertise is American antique furniture and your set is a little too contemporary for my field. I suggest you consult a local used furniture dealer for values in your area.
Thanks for writing.
