Question
QUESTION: Dear Irene,

I have a National Sewing Machine Company Model RBR sewing machine from between 1950 to 1954.  It is in a cabinet.  However, the instruction book says Model R40.  Can you tell me the value of this machine?  It was my Mother's.  Thank you so much for your help.

Answer
Hello Bill,
The links listed below all relate to domestic or home sewing machines.  These links have contact information and hopefully your questions about your home sewing machine will be answered by someone who is more familiar with these machines than I am.
Good luck.

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
