Question

Speedball Bowler
My friend needs to sell an old coin-operated bowling machine he found in his father's basement after he passed away.  It was purchased in the late 50's and was home-use only.  It's called Speedball Bowler, shuffle alley type, up to 6 players.  Made by United Mfg., Chicago, Illinois.  It is made completely out of wood (oak I believe) and is very good shape.  Working condition.  Small hole in backglass (plastic). Any idea what it's worth?

Answer
HI, Shuffle bowlers are fairly common, and so the values are fairly low on as is condition games.  The value on yours as is would be $200-300, but if restored( refinished wood, all mechanisms completely gone thru-working perfectly) with a replaced backglass it would probably bring $1500-2000.
