Question
During an internet search, I came upon a posting you made a while back to a guy asking about buying an AMI D80 jukebox that didn't work.  I am looking for a D80 and wondered if you knew of one someone was selling?  It is fine if it is not working as long as the the case is in decent shape.  Thanks,
Dave

Answer
Hi Dave,

Sorry Man, you missed a nice one that a friend of mine had, he had a bunch of work done on it and it worked great for a while and then something quit on it, probably something small but he sold it cheep! I mean real cheep, but this was a couple months ago. Always juken magazine is a great place to find some good deals on unrestored boxes. Do you scribe to that? their web site is at: http://www.alwaysjukin.com/
and I think you can still download a sample issue there. I don't know of any D-80's available right now but I'll keep my ears and eye's open for you. You also can post a free want add for one on my web site if you like, it at http://www.coinslots.com

I hope you find one soon.
Thank You
Sincerely

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
