Question
I have a chair from the Morris schiff co. It still has all the original tags and a
stamp on one of the tags. Underneath the stamp there is a date- april 24th,
1929. The fabric of the chair has a few holes. Can I have it rewoven, or should it
be completely reupholstered? Are Morris Sciff chairs popular?

Most all furniture of that era is collectable today, especially with a tag and date. Many collectors are starting to purchase only labeled items.
As far as the fabric goes, I would have new material put on the chair. Material is something that can be replaced so it doesn't make any changes that can't be reversed if necessary. If the chair has cushions, you may consider keeping them and have new ones made with new foam and material. Keep the originals packed and safe.
