QUESTION: This is not a lamp, so I don't know if you can help me, but I have a solid brass chandilier and I am wondering how old it is. It has a floral design, with crystals dangling from the arms. It is electric so I know it can't be too old. It is extremely heavy. I don't really know anything about where it came from. If I sent you a picture, do you think you could help me?

Hi, it is hard to tell from these pictures because they made so many similar chandeliers in the 1970s. Some were made of pot metal which are cheaper than the brass ones. Some of the brass ones were made in Italy. If it is real heavy it is probably brass. It should be worth at least $150 from what I can tell. It could be worth more.
