Question
I have a crystal toy sewing machine made in Japan.  I have the box, operators manuel and  it is electric, battery or hand operated.  Model #6131.  It is in mint condition and works in all 3 stages.  Can you tell me about what it would be worth.   Thank you Dennis

Answer
Hello Dennis,
Thank you for your query.
As you know, your toy sewing machine was made by the Crystal Sewing Machine Industrial Co. Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan and it dates to the 1950's.
If in mint condition with all of the manuals, attachments etc. I would place a value of around $75-$80 on your machine.
Regards,
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
