Question
Hello!
I have an old Howe Scale Co. Industrial scale. Stands about 4 foot tall. Top arm in marked #2939, scale #2929A. SN# 0014. Have some of the weights as well. Any ideas? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete

Answer
Hi Pete,

Sorry but I only do and know about coin operated games such as slot machine, jukebox's and items of that nature, But I am sure your scale could be worth some money. I know a little about coin operated scales but this is way out of my league. If I were you I would do a search on ebay for what you have to see if there are any like them on auction there. I know this is not much help but your question is not what I know about, and I am taking a chance in answering you because you could give me bad feed back, for a question I should just reject, but I did want to give you a few ideas if possible. Maybe look for an expert on old scales in general, there is a scale guy here, Bill and Jan Bering, maybe they could help you.
Good Luck Pete
Thank You
Rodger

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
