QuestionQUESTION: Hello, I have a vitage Leviton lamp, I want to put on E-Bay, and I have no clue what this table lamp I have, is worth. The switch says Leviton, with a patented on it. There is alot of seems to me, to be gold plated, and three women with silky cloth wraps, and a little girl, nude, like they are at a stream of water, or maybe some bathing spot. I would like to get an idea, what its worth. Great shape, but needs new cord, but still in it, it looks original. Thanks, Belinda
ANSWER: Leviton is just the brand of socket. I would need to see a picture to assess it. Thanks

QUESTION: Here is a pic af the what is on the lamp, can you help give me info on this, Belinda
AnswerThis lamp is similiar to what are referred to as "George and Martha" lamps which were a porcelain or ceramic vase or urn shaped lamp, usually white with gold trim and a cameo painting on the front like yours. The term came to be because the painting was usually of a man and woman from colonial times resembling George Washington and wife. Obviously yours has a different scene in the cameo. Search on Ebay to get the going price for these type lamps. I would say antique store price would be around $50.
