I have a solid wood Dentzel stander reproduction. It has an eagle carved into back of saddle. Carved I believe in the late 1960's. It is 59.5 in high and 53 inches nose to tail. It is unpainted. I am trying to establish a value to sell it.Can you give me any pointers? Thank you.
Answer I won't be of much help here. I always say that repros are worth "whatever someone is willing to pay". There's really not much of a market for these. It's a nice horse and appears to be well-carved, but I'd be hard-pressed to put a dollar figure on it. I've seen nice repros sell at auction for as little as $100.00 and as much as $1,000.00 .
