Question
I had a flood in my basement and my insurance company had a rocking chair restored for me.  The fellow that did the restoration said it was a Lincoln Gooseneck rocker.  He charged to insurance co about $600.00 dollars.  I tried to find this rocker and had no hits.  Both the back and seat were hand caned.  I have had this chair for 50 years and it was in sad shape when I got it.  Please send me any info if you can        Thank you Joe a retired woodworking teacher.

Answer
I am sorry, with no information as to who made the rocker or a picture, I cannot give you any information you don't already know. These rockers were common back in the day and again, without a picture, I can't be sure of what you might have.
Sorry,
 Rob
