Question
Dear Martin,
I have 2 Pewter what look like vases with the mark of Abbey Pewter.  They are both numbered 1465, could you tell me anything about them please. Thankyou.

Answer
-

Abbey Pewter was a trademark of Osborne & Co of Sheffield, and was used around 1909-1939. They will be made of Brittania metal, a pewter alloy used in fabricating from sheet metal. 1465 is the pattern number.
