Question
Universal is stamped on the blade of these small scissors. The blades come apart. There is measurements up one of the blades in cm, on the end of each of the finger holes there is tailoring wheels for marking fabric, thread cutter on one blade and a few other tools incorporated into the piece. There is also a tiny chip of glass that when held to the light you can see a nude woman.

Answer
Hello Terri.  Without a picture, I'm not sure that I can identify this article.  There are books out on scissors, so you may want to check your local library or book store.  The chip of glass with a figure in it does seem to describe a "stanhope" type of piece, but I'm really at a loss not seeing what you are describing.  Since there doesn't seem to be a question here, I not able to offer any more information.  Best of luck with your quest.  Barb
