Question
Hello, I have an AMI Model E-80 jukebox that I am interested in selling. I do not have any idea what the value is. The jukebox is in good condition. When turned on the lights come on and the turntable goes around, but the records do not drop. Also the top plastic sign that says AMI is broken. Can you help me to find the value in it's current state.
Thank you,

Answer
Hi Jay, according to your description I would call your juke a grade 4, a grade three is worth about $750.00, and a grade 4 like yours has a value of $375.00. So your somewhere between 375.00 and 750.00 for your value of this 1953 Ami Model E-80 jukebox.

I hope this helps you in finding a starting price. This is a 2008 guide I am using.
Thank You
Rodger

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
