About Rodger Knutson
Expertise
I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can.

Experience
I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!

Question
I have a large Cavalier soda machine, with a nice lighted waterfall photo, and need someone to service the coin mechanism, backlight for waterfall, etc. The compressor works fine, just need to repair the non-working parts. I tried contacting local vendors, one came over and did not return and have contacted several others, but no call-backs. Do you have other repair resources in my area I could contact? I am located in Tavares, Florida 32778, (30 miles north of Orlando, FL) Lake County.

Answer
Hi Cynthia,

I live about as far from you as possible and still be in the USA, I am in Washington. Have you tried gameroom equipment, or amusement games in the phone book, these guys are a good source for who fixes the old stuff. Also there are on line stores for repairs but you have to send the part that is bad to have it fixed. Look over this site as there is information for help in here: http://www.gameroommagazine.com/
You may be able to find someone in the links or want adds there.
Sorry, but this is about all I can do to help. If I find someone your way I will let you know.
Thank You
Rodger
