Question
I have a table top size slot machine. It was given to my youngest son about 19 years ago. It is a buckaroo bank, that has a reak handle to pull, wheels turn and a coin slot. On the top is the coin slot and the front face says Nevada. on the face there is the 1cent, 5 and 10 cent line. Below that is the name "Buckaroo Bank" and show the winning combinations. bar.....jackpot, 7.....jackpot, two bars & 7.....jackpot. Below that is a statement... Jackpot drops on all bar and seven comcinations * No coin necessary to pull handle and lastly it says....Not a gaming Device... The coin drop is below that. It will take and hold coins.
I have never seen another one like it and wondered about its value, where it came from and how old it might be. Our friend has passed, so we can not ask him. So... any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks-Kim

Answer

Nevada bank
Hi Kim,

You can see a lot of these on ebay, here is the link to one:

They don't really sell for to much there, generally from 10.00 to 40.00 dollars and I am not sure when they were made and for how many years, but I would guess in the 60's maybe. Check out ebay for "slot machine banks" and you will find a hand full. I hope this gives you all the information that you are looking for.
Sincerely
Rodger

Opss The Buckroo is just a tad different and here is one:

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
