Question
QUESTION: I have a green child's Crystal Sewing Machine that I purchased at an antique sale.  Do you know anything about this manufacturer???

ANSWER: Hello Sharon,
Your little child's or toy sewing machine was manufactured by the Crystal Sewing Machine Industrial Co. Ltd of Tokyo, Japan.
Somewhere on your machine you should also see the Crystal trademark decal.  Most of the machines date to the 1950's.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Irene

QUESTION: Do you know what the value might be?

Answer
Hello Sharon,
It is very difficult to put a value on something that I have not seen. The Crystal Co. made many different models some being more valuable than others.
If you send me pictures of the machine and an accurate, detailed condition report I will be able to give you an approximate value.
Regards,
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
