Question
I have a machine by richard groetchen patent number 1978395,I have found that it was made in 1934, just curious about what the worth would be, in semi good condition.
Hi Donna, Groetchen Manufacturing was a major producer of coin operated machines in the 1930-50's. They made mainly what are called trade stimulators, where the patron would play the game and them be paid off according to the payout card if it was a winner. Since money was paid by hand operators were able to avoid the illegality of slot machines, somewhat. They were outlawed in many states.
