Question
Good evening. I was wondering where I might find parts for a Debug 147?
I have one in great working conditition including literally hundreds of cataloged 78 records. It was my Father-in-laws.
It does need the red thingy on the right side because it has a crack. It is the red piece that goes from top to bottom. Thanks for any help you can give.

Answer
Hi Toby,

Nice box that Seeburg Trashcan model 147 is! I love them, they have the nick name of Trashcan as, well they do look like kinda like one. The model 147 was made in 1947, there were three trashcan models, 146-147-148, the model number was also the year it was made. Yours is the middle model, some of the 147's were made of wood and some later models of aluminum. This was a very reliable juke. A great place to get new reproduction parts is at:

If your looking for original parts a friend of mine, Bill Butterfield has warehouses full of parts! and don't forget to look at his links page, His web site is at:
http://www.jukebox-parts.com/

There is also a great magazine with ton's of adds. this web site is at:
http://www.jukebox-parts.com/

This should give you a great start!

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
