Question
Hi I have an old cash register from the National Cash Register Company It looks like it was once in a automotive repair shop. It is red in color and a crank to open the drawer. I have searched for it online and cannot find out what the value of it is so i was hoping you could help me. I also have a 1952 Bally Beach Club Pinball Machine that i am also looking for the value of. Thank you very much Megan

Answer
Hi Megan,

I don't know much about your antique cash register as it's not a coin operated machine of which I work with and know about, but if you do a search on ebay I am sure you will see some, and can watch what they sell for. I see them start around $350.00 and up I think, depending on which model and size and how ornate they are and if the're the old Brass one's, they may start around $600.00.

As for your pinball machine, You can see some information on it here at:
http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?any=++beach+club&sortby=name&search=Search+Databas...

Also if you want a ton of information on it, email me at jackpot7@ix.netcom.com and I'll attach some information on it and send it back. As for value, these neat old "Bingo Type, Wood Rail pinballs" are under priced, but they just don't sell for what there worth. If we sold pinball machines by the pound, this would be a top dollar machine as these are the heavy-est pinball machine I have ever had to move! They bring in from about $350.00 to $600.00 on the average and depending on it's condition. If it's not working then they don't sell for much, maybe 50 to 100 as there very labor intensive to fix, and get running.

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
