Question
my aunt has a gottlieb world fair pinball machine in her basement that she bought about 30 years ago and was used when she purchased it. she wants to know what it might be worth. it is in very good condition and is very playable. it does have a bumper missing and the left flipper functions about half the time. the top of the bumper is dislodged but is under the glass. you need a nickle to operate it. thank you for your time

Answer
William,

I would value a Gottlieb World Fair in the $300-750 range.  Of course condition is a big factor.  A nice clean and properly operating properly machine would be in the upper end of the range.  An example that is beat up and/or not working would fall into the bottom of the range.  Another very important part of the value is the back glass.  A broken glass or one with flaking painting drastically hurts the value.

Good Luck,
Chad
