Question
I am trying to find information on an old arcade game ( Hunt Club/Chicago Coin) that was given to me,such as; 1)is it worth anything as a collectable, 2) can parts still be found for it, 3) are their people that still repair these games, 4) where can I find parts/repair manuals for it. I plan on keeping the game, but I know nothing about where to begin to research it's history and collectability. Thank you in advance for any information you can pass along.

Answer
Hi Jim,

Looks to me a fantastic game! I have never seen one myself but I really like games like this. Here is what I can tell you about it:

Name: Hunt Club, made by Chicago Coin Manufacturing.
Made in 1975.
This is a one player game.
Separate Target Assembly.
Direct View.
Free Handling Gun.
Shoots With Light.
Time Based Game.
Extended Play.

Value is more based on the type of game, so it could be worth more or less, but value as of 2007 is any ware from $400.00 to $800.00 on average for this type of game, but as I say, some games may command a higher price to the right buyer and can go as high as $1,000.00. Now instead of running you all around looking for manuals and parts, I suggest that you start right here at:  http://flippers.com/
This company bought a huge warehouse jambed full of arcade games, parts and manuals not long ago and I would be surprised if he didn't have it all for you. He also repairs these games but you surly can find someone closer to you, and this company might be able to refer you. Also do check ebay search, for "arcade game Hunt Club manual parts" something will pop up if you keep checking.
I sure hope this helps you, and thank you for sending photo's along.
Sincerely
Rodger Knutson

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
