Hi there, I have a question that I am hoping you can help me out with. I have this old rocking horse that I think is very unique or unusual. I have attached photos of it. It measures approximately 31 inches long and 23 inches high. It is made of wood and has decorative metal work that includes brass and copper clad ears, tail, and hooves. It exhibits some definite wear and damage but is still quite interesting. I was wondering if you have ever seen one like this or have any idea of the age? Or any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Megan Hughes
Answer This appears to have the style of an inexpensive Asian import. I would doubt that it has much value. Authentic pieces generally are much more realistic in their design. I'll point to the "beak like" mouth and rabbit ears on this piece as examples.
