Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Coca Cola thimble

Question
Hi. I have a Coca Cola thimble and don't know that it's worth anything. It is off-white plastic with "Drink Coca Cola" written on it in red. I'm wondering if it is worth trying to sell on eBay or CraigsList, etc. Thank you!

Answer
Hello Kim.  Thimbles were used as promotional give aways quite often.  Your thimble is probably from the 50s and are quite plentiful in today's market.  They are cross collectible as thimble collectors, advertising collectors, premium collectors and Coka Cola collectors would value your item.  However, since they were mass produced, the thimble is probably worth $5-$8 in very good condition.  Barbara
