About Rodger Knutson
Expertise I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com
Experience I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!

Question
Hello,
Im hoping you can help me price this jukebox for sale. My mother won it in a raffle at a local Moose Lodge when they upgraded to a new jukebox sound system. This jukebox is in very good condition. The only thing is that the speakers are not hooked up because it was previously hooked up to the actual sound system of the lodge. I have no idea how to hook up or turn on the speakers of the jukebox. Anyway this is a CD holding jukebox and recently had the dollar bill acceptor mechanism replaced. They told me that alone is well worth over $100. In any case it is too big to fit in my basement and my mother lives in a small apartment so we are left wanting to sell it.
Any info or help in regard to this jukebox would be helpful as I dont know anything about it. I have included a photo as well.
Best Regards,
Don Nelson
Answer Hi Don,
This is out of my expertise as I only have information on antique coin operated machines. There is not any information on the newer stuff, because people don't collect it yet. My guess as to value is about $500.00 to $800.00 hundred dollars just from seeing some used jukebox's selling at auction. To get a better idea of value try calling a amusement vendor or suppler in the phone book, under amusement games, jukebox's, arcade games, etc., they can give you a better idea as to used value. They sell these used machines on the floor in a lot of arcade supplier's stores or distributors outlets. I shouldn't have answered this question because of it not being antique games that I do, but I wanted to try to help you find value for it so I am trying to give you some idea where to look for that information. When you ready to sell it, try using Crags list in your area, there free and it works great! They are at:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/
Once there you can find your local area to post an want add and the best part is, if you can sell it locally you will not have to deal with shipping. This is new enough maybe a local bar or restaurant might be interested in it.
Thank You, and thanks for adding a photo!
Sincerely
Rodger Knutson
