Question
I found an old coin operated Japanese pinball machine in our basement & was wondering if you had ever heard of it, because  I haven't been able to find any information about it on the web so far. A lot of the writing is in Japanese, but the information I was able to read the following information (in no particular order):

       Satomi
       Arrange Ball
       Miracle
       Sammy Special
       32"x21"x7"
       Serial # 00136

I don't know if it is functional or not, and it's very dirty. I'm just trying to find out if it's worth the time to try and clean it up, etc.

thank you so much,

Answer
Hi Sona,

I Sona, it's been awhile since I answered your question here. I have someone who wrote me after looking through my questions and answerers at Allexperts I guess, and was interested in knowing if you wanted to sell you Satomi Pinball game? If so, please write me at Jackpot7@q.com and I'll see what I can do OK?

Thank You

Sincerely

Hi Sona,

I am guessing from the sound of this description, that it is a pachinko machine. See below for a link with information about them:

These were imported over here by the ship loads and value isn't very much, maybe in or around a hundred dollars if this is the right game.

Here is a move on them:

These early games like yours might be, or that you might have are very sample games and there is or were many of them out there for sale.

Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
