Question

Bally Slot Machine
Hi Rodger,
Just wondering if you would know what year this slot machine is and what its value would be?
Thanks,
Kerri

Answer
Hi Kerri,

Nice machine! Looks like the electro/mechanical Bally model 1090 Multiplier to me. The model number should be on a metal serial number tag located below the handle. The year will be stamped by hand to top of the tag, in the black painted area and really hard to see, you should see a 19 on the top left of that tag, and two digits on the right to like 75 which would tell us it's a 1975 model. Value if from $800.00 to 1,200.00 and with todays market it is hard to guess what it will really sell for. It mostly depends on how and where you go to sell it. There are really nice machines and this is a real good model as it is old enough to still have the fruit and bars, and 7's and it is an electro/Mechanical machine meaning it doesn't have any circuit boards in it. Multiplier refers to what kind of game the machine has in it, in this case Multiplier because each coin multiples the payout, and it payouts on the same combinations as you would win on with just one coin, only you win almost twice as much with the second and save with the third coin. This is a quarter machine which is real good and with all the original glass, all matching. One of the finest Ballys ever made in my opinion!

Thank You

Sincerely

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
