Question
My mother recently found an old box in my grandmother's attic containg an eight inch in diameter fabric tool called "The Wonder Cloth Measure." It was made by A.E. Putnam & Sons, Mfrs. It is round with a glass front and has a lever on the side. There is no date anywhere on the paperwork or box. Any information you may have would be wonderful! Thank you for your time. Lori Harris

Hi Lori. Any chance you could send a digital picture. Based on your description, I'm at a loss. Have you researched the manufacturer or checked out google patents? I'm wondering if it might be a commercial item? Sorry I can't be of more help on this. Barbara
