About Rodger Knutson
Expertise
I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience
I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!

Question
Hello,
Could you tell me any info. on a machine Im looking at? I believe it is a trade stimulator, Tag on top front of machine says Marvel, Bottom front tag reads Daval Chicago Illinois. Its a 1 cent Gumball machine. You pull a lever and try to match the 3 symbols(like a slot machine) to win the bubblegum. It is made of metal. Owner says its from the thirties.
Thank You, Very Much!

Answer
Hi Rick,

We have to guess just a bit on what you have, as there are tons of different trade stimulator's out there, but this is a common model, if I have the right one. See and print the attached page.
If this is the correct game, then there is a ton of information for you there on this attachment which should give you more information then you may even want to know about it, so I'll just leave it here and wait to see if this is the right model. Value is about the same, today, as what is quoted in the attached guide. If for some reason you can't read or print it, write me at Jackpot7@q.com and I'll send it to you.

Thank You
Sincerely

Rodger Knutson
